# Twitter

composer require socialiteproviders/twitter

# Installation & Basic Usage

Please see the Base Installation Guide (opens new window), then follow the provider specific instructions below.

# Add configuration to config/services.php

'twitter' => [
  'client_id' => env('TWITTER_CLIENT_ID'),
  'client_secret' => env('TWITTER_CLIENT_SECRET'),

# Enable Sign in With Twitter

You will need to enable 3-legged OAuth in the Twitter Developers Dashboard (opens new window). Make sure to also add your callback URL.

# Add provider event listener

Configure the package's listener to listen for SocialiteWasCalled events.

Add the event to your listen[] array in app/Providers/EventServiceProvider. See the Base Installation Guide (opens new window) for detailed instructions.
